As the weather continues to warm, Summer At SLU is preparing for the busy months ahead as summer class registration opens on Monday, March 18, 2019.
Saint Louis University is offering more than 500 undergraduate and graduate courses in the summer - from disciplines in engineering, medicine, theology and a variety of other fields of study, along with more than 70 K-12 camps and academies that will take place on campus from late May through early August.
“We are really excited about this year’s summer 2019 offerings,” Troy Hargrove, director of the Summer-Winter Office and associate dean in the School for Professional Studies, said. “Each department and college at SLU has put in a lot of work to offer the best slate of classes possible for our students, and we are anticipating one of our best summers yet.”
This year, Summer At SLU welcomes more than 15 new programs, including camps such as Telling Stories using Data: Data Science through Python, Mad Science: NASA Journey into Outer Space and Little Scholars: Design the Runway. Other 2019 offerings include Grand Theater Camp in partnership with Metro Theater Company, Improvisational Comedy from the Improv Shop, and a variety of engineering, medicine, fine arts and sports programs.
Summer camp registration is now open. The 2019 camp and academy listings can be found on the Summer At SLU website.
