Dissertation Retreat Registration Open

The 2019 Dissertation Writing Retreat will begin Wednesday, June 19, and is open on a first-come, first-serve basis to up to 30 students.

A limited number of one-on-one appointments will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 10 registrants will be contacted ahead of time to schedule their individual writing consultations.

Frank Giuseffi, Ed.D., will lead a discussion about different writing strategies each day of the retreat. He will also provide structured time to write in a quiet environment alongside other scholars.

The retreat will conclude Friday, June 21.

Retreat sessions will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily in Room 300, Macelwane Hall.

Participants will be asked to bring a laptop, notebook, pen/pencil, current writing project and research.

Light snacks will be supplied throughout the day. Lunch is not included.
