Limited Submission Opportunity for Pew Scholars Award

Assistant professors whose work relates to advancing human health can apply for a chance to be selected as SLU’s submission to the 2019 Pew Scholars Program in the Biomedical Sciences.
The Pew Scholars Program supports assistant professors of outstanding promise in science relevant to the advancement of human health. The award provides $300,000 in flexible support — $75,000 per year for a four-year period. One application is allowed per institution.
Candidates must have been awarded a doctorate in biomedical sciences, medicine or a related field.

To be considered as SLU’s submission to the program, submit the following items by Thursday, May 30, to Terri Borowiak in the Office of the Vice President for Research:
- One Research Project Summary
- Curriculum Vitae
- Letter of Support from Division or Department Chair
If chosen, a full proposal will be due by Friday, Oct. 18.
