Advent Retreat to Focus on Coping with Change

Join Sr. Virginia Herbers, ASCJ, of the Office of Mission and Identity for an Advent Retreat, “God's Intrusions: When the Sacred Interrupts Our Plans,” on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Manresa Center.

The retreat, including dinner, presentations, quiet prayer and discussion will begin at 5:30 p.m. and run until 8 p.m.

About the Retreat

The announcement that they would be parenting the Son of God surprised Mary and Joseph. What does it mean when God interrupts our well-thought through plans for ourselves? What shapes our response?
