SLU Holding Surplus Property Auction
11/05/2019
The Division of Student Development is hosting an online auction of surplus University property beginning Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. Items from kitchen and restaurant equipment to furniture and other small wares like dishes are available.
The online sale ends Monday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m., three items per minute.
Students, staff, faculty, alumni, University organizations and the public can register and bid for the items online. SLU has partnered with TopShopAuctions.com to run the auction.
Funds generated by the sale will be used to replenish any needed kitchen equipment or furnishings. All sales of surplus property generate revenues for the University from items that are no longer in use or are no longer required for operations, helping SLU supplement funds to the dining services program, and to help support efforts to keep tuition increases for room and board to a minimum.
All items are sold “as-is, where-is, and without warranty.”
