TurkeyPalooza Seeks Donations

Campus Kitchen, a student-led organization that reduces food waste and provides meals to those who are hungry in and around the SLU neighborhood, is in the midst of hosting its annual TurkeyPalooza. The SLU community can contribute holiday fixings to the Thanksgiving food drive from Nov. 19 through Nov. 21.

All donations can be dropped off at Campus Kitchen in Reinert Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or donations can be picked-up by calling 314-665-0324 or emailing melissa.apprill@slu.edu.

Items needed include:

• Turkeys (any size, frozen or thawed)
• Canned  or fresh yams/sweet potatoes
• Butter
• Flour
• Green Beans
• Fried onions
• Olive Oil
• Brown sugar
• White sugar
• Zip food storage bags (all sizes)
• Muffin cups
• Cream of mushroom soups
• Chicken stock
• Marshmallows
• Foil pans
• Rice
• Gravy
• Cranberries (sauce or whole)
• Other holiday-related ingredients
