SLU Showcases Ways to Give: Campus Kitchen
Campus Kitchen, a student-led organization that reduces food waste and provides meals to those who are hungry in and around the SLU neighborhood, needs help preparing and delivering meals over the winter season.
In addition to fighting for food justice, Campus Kitchen volunteers develop relationships with those they serve through companionship and conversation. The organization will maintain its normal operations and is seeking volunteers as students head home for the holiday break.

Campus Kitchen is staffed by SLU students, staff and faculty members who work to understand and address the complexities of food insecurity, poverty, sustainability and nutrition. SLU’s kitchen was the chosen as the pilot site for Campus Kitchen in the country.
