Celebrate the Road to the NCAA with the Women's Soccer Team

Saint Louis University's women's soccer team took home its second straight Atlantic 10 Conference Championship after defeating George Washington 3-1 on Sunday, Nov. 10. The Billikens now advance to the NCAA Soccer Championship tournament.

The women's soccer team will gather at Lorenzini's at Chaifetz Arena at 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, for the NCAA Selection Show and the SLU community is invited to watch with the team and to celebrate.

The selection airs at 3:30 p.m.

After an unbeaten season, the Billikens defeated George Washington 3-1 on Sunday, Nov. 10, to claim the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship.

With Sunday's win, the Billikens tied the school record for home wins in a season at 11, and SLU is 37-1-5 in its last 43 home games. The Billikens  also hold a 26-game unbeaten streak against A-10 opponents. Already the winningest class in SLU women's soccer history, this year's Billiken seniors registered their 64th victory with the Nov. 10 victory.

The Billikens will play in their first NCAA Tournament game on Friday, Nov. 15.
