Midyear Commencement Speaker Sought

Graduating seniors, law students, medical students and graduate students are encouraged to apply.

Graduating seniors, law students, medical students and graduate students are encouraged to apply to be the midyear student commencement speaker. This year’s midyear commencement takes place on Friday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m.

Applications are due by Friday, Nov. 1. Applicants need to complete this application and send a copy of their draft speech, letter of recommendation and your résumé to Kent Porterfield, Ed.D., vice president of student development.

Following the deadline, speaker finalists will be invited to give their speeches in person to the selection committee.
