Pioneer, Alumni Merit Award Nominees Sought

Saint Louis University’s Alumni Merit Awards are seeking nominations for two categories of prestigious alumni honors, School and College Alumni Merit Awards and the Pioneer Award. The nominations are for 2020’s class of award winners.
In May 2019, SLU honored 11 alumni with these awards as part of their 2019 class. The recipients ranged from the founder of a local nonprofit organization to the CEO of a national holding company.
Alumni Merit Award Details
- One graduate from each of SLU’s 11 schools, colleges and centers will be recognized with a School and College Alumni Merit Award. Each distinguished alumnus or alumna is honored in recognition of his or her outstanding achievement, dedication to a chosen profession and commitment to the mission of the University.
Pioneer Award Details
- One gradate from the University will be recognized with the Pioneer Award, which is given to an alumna or alumnus who is a trailblazer in their field, has demonstrated a commitment to service and the Jesuit mission and whose actions have helped pave the way for others.
- Any living or deceased alum from any school or college is eligible for the Pioneer Award.
Nominations for both awards will be accepted through Sunday, Dec. 1.
Final recipients will receive their award during the Commencement Recognition Dinner on Friday, May 15, 2020.
