Mission Book Club Announces Semester's Selection

The Mission Book Club’s Fall 2019 reading selection is Abide in the Heart of Christ: A 10-Day Personal Retreat with St. Ignatius of Loyola by SLU alumnus and campus minister Joe Laramie, S.J.

The Office of Mission and Identity welcomes all SLU faculty and staff to join in this fall’s exploration of Laramie’s new work based on the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola.

Participants can form groups on their own, or individuals can request assignment to one.

Group meetings will take place over two months. The club begins and ends with a luncheon.

The club’s Opening Luncheon will be held Wedneday, Oct. 16, and will include a meal, fellowship and a special opportunity to hear and meet Laramie.

Books, provided at no cost, will be distributed at the luncheon.
