Humanities Writing Group Seeks New Members
09/20/2019
The Faculty Writing Fellows Program is seeking four to six participants for an interdisciplinary Writing Group in the Humanities.
The group will focus will on book and article writing within the disciplines of history, English, theology, philosophy, modern and classical languages and American Studies.
While open to faculty of any rank, the program will give priority to assistant and associate professors who are looking to complete monographs to meet the standards for tenure and promotion. The group will meet bi-weekly.
Participants will work not only to refine prose and ideas but to overcome stumbling blocks common to many large projects such as procrastination and writer’s block.
If interested, send a brief description of your current writing project and reasons for your interest to Mark Edward Ruff, Ph.D., Department of History.
