HR Seeks Your Best 'New Normal' Photos, Pets Included
07/24/2020
As the SLU community continues to take measures to socially distance in order to help flatten the curve of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Division of Human Resources (HR) is launching new ways to connect virtually and to share your “new normal” with your fellow Billikens. New chances to connect will launch every two weeks until further notice.
HR is seeking submissions for two photo themed-photo drives as the first of these efforts.
Through Monday, Aug. 3, share your best pics based on the following themes:
- Share you or your family’s photo modeling your best COVID mask.
- Share a photo of your favorite pet(s).
HR will assemble submitted photos into collages to share with the wider University community.
How to Submit Your Best Pics
To submit your photos:
- Click the link to access the Google Doc.
- Choose a blank cell in the table to insert your photo.
- To insert the photo, click the “insert” tab, hover over “image” and choose “upload from computer.”
- If you would like, add a description of your name and/or pet’s name and your SLU department/division underneath your photo.
- Remember not exit out of the document until your photo has finished uploading.
More Photo Submission Guidelines
- Submissions may also be shared on SLU’s social media accounts.
- Submitted photos should be high-resolution (over 960 pixels or more) and clear/crisp.
- Multiple photos may be submitted but not all photos may be used as part of the story. Some images may be used solely for social media purposes.
- Submitted photos must be the submitter’s original work and not owned/under copyright to another person or organization.
- Submissions depicting minor children will not be accepted without written consent of the child’s or children’s parents or legal guardians.
- Submissions that do not adhere to the themes stated above, or photos that contain inappropriate or offensive imagery not aligned to the University’s mission and values may be rejected.
HR reserves the right to reject or to not include submissions.
