COVID-19: Campus Events Update
Due to the continued monitoring of the global concern over the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), changes have been made to the following campus events and/or regular hours of operation of some campus facilities.

Atlas Week
- The 2020 Sam and Marilyn Fox Atlas Week and all related events have been canceled.

Staff Advisory Committee (SAC)

The Staff Advisory Committee (SAC) will hold its monthly meeting from noon to 1:15 p.m., on Thursday, March 19, online via Skype for Business.

Skype is available to anyone who would like to attend the meeting online or by phone. Those participating by Skype Business must install have Skype installed on their computers.

- To Install Skype for Business, follow these steps:
- You must be signed into Skype to view the SAC meeting. These directions will help those who do not have Skype automatically loaded on their computer.
- To locate Skype, go to your Start menu on the bottom left-hand corner of your desktop. When you click on the start menu, you will see the bottom option is to open the All programs list. When you click on all programs you can find Skype for Business in the list of applications. Click on Skype for Business.
- You sign into Skype using your full email address. Once you entered your username, enter your email password. Once you have entered this password, you can click on Sign in and you will be taken to the Skype interface. Once you have signed into Skype, you will see your profile information is displayed on the top left.
- Once Skype is open then you can click Join Skype Meeting
- Messenger will be turned off during the meeting.
- Skype members will need to send questions during the meeting to sac@slu.edu.

Women’s Commission
- The Women’s Commission has suspended and/or canceled its spring 2020 events including the annual “Women of the Year” Luncheon.
- The commission will still accepting nominations for outstanding female students, staff and faculty members for its annual “Women of the Year” honors through Friday, March 13. Those nominated for 2020 who are selected for the honor will receive their awards in 2021.
SLU Museums and Galleries
- Saint Louis University’s museums and galleries including the Saint Louis University Museum of Art (SLUMA), the Museum of Contemporary Religious Art (MOCRA) and the Samuel Cupples House Museum and McNamee Gallery will be closed to the public and the SLU community until further notice.
- The April "First Fridays" Gallery Tours at SLU museums are canceled.

Irma Ruebling Distinguished Speaker Series
- The 2020 Irma Ruebling Distinguished Speaker Series event originally slated for Thursday, March 26, has been canceled.

- The fish fry, set for Friday, March 20, has been canceled.

- The 2020 Norman A. White Memorial Lecture and Inaugural TEG Talks series have been postponed until further notice.

- The “Topics in Pathology” set for noon on Monday, March 16, is canceled.

- The School of Education's Open House featuring guest speaker Melissa Grandel that was set for Wednesday, April 8, is canceled.
- The school's guest speaker scheduled for April 23, is also canceled.
2020 Bridge Lecture
- This year's Bridge Lecture set for Tuesday, March 17, has been postponed. Plans are in process to reschedule the lecture. More information will be forthcoming.
“Career Paths Beyond Academia for Humanities Ph.D.s” Panel
- The Public Humanities Initiative, the Department of American Studies and the Graduate Public Humanities Working Group will host an upcoming panel discussion, “Career Paths Beyond Academia for Humanities Ph.D.s" has been canceled. The panel had been scheduled March 24.
Executive Master of International Business (EMIB) Information Sessions
- The following information sessions for the Executive Master of International Business
degree offered by the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business will shift into a online-only
format including sessions set for:

Department of Visual and Performing Arts Events
- All opening receptions, concerts and other events hosted by programs within the Department of Visual and Performing Arts are canceled for the remainder of the spring semester.
- Performances of Theatre and Dance Productions's Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play are canceled.
Pediatric Science Days 2020
- This year's Pediatric Science Days and its associated events are postponed until further notice.
'Running of the Bills' 5K
- The charity 5K hosted by the Saint Louis University Running Club set for Saturday, March 21, has been canceled.
Campus Masses and Liturgies
- Per the order of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, all campus Masses and liturgies are suspended until further notice.
Talk: "No Child Left Monolingual"
- The talk by Kim Potowski, Ph.D., of the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, “No Child Left Monolingual,” that had been scheduled Friday, April 3, in the Sinquefield Stateroom, DuBourg Hall, has been canceled.
Sigma Xi Research Symposium
- This year's symposium, originally set for May, has been canceled.
