Email Updates Coming Next Month

Information Technology and Services (ITS) is working on an update to the Office 365 system that will make email and calendar collaboration between the @health.slu.edu and @slu.edu addresses easier and more secure. Other benefits of this change will include access to new Office 365 tools such as MS Teams and MS Bookings.
Faculty, staff, clinicians and students with an @health.slu.edu email address will have an interruption to email service starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, and ending the evening of Sunday, Dec. 20.
Email will not be accessible for any @health.slu.edu email users on any device during this outage.
Email accounts with the @slu.edu address will not experience any impact and can access email as normal.
- No changes will be made to your email address or password.
- Outlook on Windows will be updated automatically.
- Outlook on Mac will require your account to be added manually.
- After the maintenance period is complete, anyone using Outlook mobile (iOS / Android devices) will need to need to reenroll in Intune.
- Existing and new emails received will not be lost during the scheduled downtime - they will appear after the maintenance window is over.
- Onsite and remote support will be available for assistance in resolving any issues that may arise.
