University Expands Winter Session Term

As it rolls out its fourth winter session, Saint Louis University has expanded the shortened term to give students more options for taking additional for-credit courses toward their degree completion during the University’s winter break.
This year’s Winter Term includes a four-week session, and a second, five-week option.
Registration opens on Tuesday, Oct. 20, and closes at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 9.
Students may take only one course during a winter session.
When Do Sessions Run?
Winter Session 1 runs four weeks from Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, through Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021.
Winter Session 2 runs five weeks from Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, through Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021.
What Kinds of Classes Can I Take?
Winter 2020-2021 offerings will include undergraduate courses from the following disciplines:
- Clinical Health Sciences
- Earth and Atmospheric Sciences
- Visual and Performing Arts
- Forensic Science
- Humanities
- History
- Philosophy
- Political Science
- Psychology
- Sociology and Anthropology
- Security and Strategic Intelligence
- Theology
- Women’s and Gender Studies
More About Winter Session
- All courses are online, three-credit hours at $770 per credit hour.
- Winter session enrollment is open to current SLU students in good academic standing, including visiting students and students enrolled in the School for Professional Studies.
- No first-time spring 2021 freshmen or SLU-Madrid students are permitted to take classes in winter.
