HR Launches Halloween-Themed Photo Call
10/16/2020
As the SLU community continues to take measures to socially distance and keep the campus community safe and healthy, the Division of Human Resources (HR) is offering Billikens ways to stay connected virtually as it continues its calls for photo themed photo submissions.
Photo calls are put out approximately every two weeks and are an opportunity to share family photos based on different themes with the rest of the SLU community.
HR’s new theme is, "It's Fall, Y'all!"
Submit photos of your favorite fall or Halloween activities like visiting the pumpkin patch, fall foliage and of Halloween costumes for the whole family, pets included.
Submissions are due Wednesday, Nov. 4.
HR will format the photos into a collage and share with the community.
At the end of each two-week period, we will publish the new themes and the template will be cleared to allow you to enter new photos.
Submissions submitted to HR's most recent call for socially distanced Labor Day and favorite ways to relax at home, will be posted soon on OneSLU.
How to Submit Your Best Pics
To submit your photos:
- Save your submission with the caption as the title. For example, “Joe – first day of kindergarten”.
- Click the link to access the Google Folder.
- To insert the photo, click the “new” button (left hand column + sign) and choose “file upload.”
- Choose your submission(s) to upload.
- Do not exit out of the document until your photo has finished uploading.
More Photo Submission Guidelines
- Submissions may also be shared on SLU’s social media accounts.
- Submitted photos should be high-resolution (over 960 pixels or more) and clear/crisp.
- Multiple photos may be submitted but not all photos may be used as part of the story. Some images may be used solely for social media purposes.
- Submitted photos must be the submitter’s original work and not owned/under copyright to another person or organization.
- Submissions depicting minor children will not be accepted without written consent of the child’s or children’s parents or legal guardians.
- Submissions that do not adhere to the themes stated above, or photos that contain inappropriate or offensive imagery not aligned to the University’s mission and values may be rejected.
HR reserves the right to reject or to not include submissions.
