Pastoral Care Department Seeking Nominations for 2021 Caring Physicians Awards

The Pastoral Care Department of SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking nominations for the 2021 Caring Physicians Awards. Nominations can be submitted through Tuesday, Sept. 21.

All attending physicians, fellows and residents who practice at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital and who have not received this award in the last seven years, are eligible for nomination.

Nominations are to be written giving examples how the physician lives out the following missions: Saint Louis University, “For the glory of God and the health of God’s people” and SSM Health, “Through our exceptional health care services, we reveal the healing presence of God.”

This year we are delighted to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the awards. The Pastoral Care Department will host the Caring Physician Awards presentation in the SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in Conference Rooms A-C, 2nd level on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021 at noon in celebration of the Feast of St. Luke.

Nomination forms are located in the nursing units in the hospital, by calling the Pastoral Care Department at 314-257-8700, by email at. Completed forms can be given to one of the hospital chaplains or emailed to SLUH-pastoralcare.admin@ssmhealth.com. You can also access the nomination form at this link.
