Feedback Window Open on Proposed New Policy

08/27/2021

The University community has the opportunity to provide feedback during the 30-day comment period on a proposed new policy. The policy and feedback form can be found on the Policy Program website

Proposed Involuntary Student Leave Policy

Saint Louis University students are expected to strive for excellence, to develop their talents through discovery and reflection, and to be concerned for cura personalis (care of each individual) of our entire campus community, while progressing toward their degree. The University is dedicated to fostering a supportive educational environment. When students exhibit behavior indicating an inability or unwillingness to engage productively toward meeting these expectations and present disruptive and/or dangerous behavior, the University may place the student on an involuntary leave for non-academic reasons.

Feedback on this policy will be accepted until Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, at 5 p.m. Send any questions to Michael A. Reeves, Ph.D., Chief Policy and Export Control Officer, by phone at 314-977-5880 or email at Michael.reeves@health.slu.edu.
