Faculty and Staff Encouraged to Participate in the SLU Relay For Life

Campus units are encouraged to join in the fight against cancer by participating in SLU’s annual Relay For Life event, to be held at Robert Hermann Soccer Stadium on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

Relay For Life is a student-led group on campus that raises money for the American Cancer Society of Eastern Missouri to help fund cancer research, as well as programs to help cancer patients throughout their treatments. The event involves walking around the track, various activities entertainment acts, a silent auction, and a special ceremony honoring both those who have lost their lives to cancer as well as those who have survived.

Since 2003, SLU Relay For Life has raised more than $2 million in the fight against cancer, and the SLU has been recognized several years in a row as a top-performing campus.
