12/02/2021

Saint Louis University Workforce Center is offering a complimentary stress management webinar series. The final session was previously canceled but has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Dec. 15, at noon.

The series is called "Managing Stress at Work and Home: Tools for Renewing Mental, Physical and Emotional Resources." The series will feature Jennifer Giancola, Ph.D., professor, Saint Louis University’s School for Professional Studies. With changes in our work and home environments, employees experience more personal and job stress. This webinar series provides practical tools to not only help manage stress, but also become more resilient to demands.

Participants will learn how to renew themselves mentally, physically and emotionally to enhance well-being and productivity. By the end of this webinar series, participants should understand their warning system for stress, learn tools for dealing with stressors and renewing personal resources, practice techniques like complex movement and deep relaxation, and be able to implement a stress management action plan.

The final session will be Wednesday, December 15th from 12:00 pm to 12:45 p.m. The final webinar teaches more advanced stress management tools. Attendees will learn ways to stop unproductive thinking and promote a positive mindset. Participants will practice relaxation techniques that provide deeper renewal of resources.

Attendance at the first two sessions is not required to attend the third session.
