ITS Correcting Issue With Microsoft Office February 23

Information Technology Services has identified an issue that affects a specific version of Microsoft Office on some SLU-managed workstations.

When a combination of conditions is present, Microsoft Office may repeatedly prompt for credentials. To remediate this challenge, ITS will be rolling out an updated version of Microsoft Office beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23.

If you are working remotely, please keep your workstation connected to the VPN Global Protect, so that this update can be applied.

Microsoft Office is also available via the "Office 365 Email" icon in MySLU. From here, you will be able to access your email/calendar and online versions of Word, Excel, OneDrive and PowerPoint.
