How to Pre-Register for the COVID-19 Vaccine in the St. Louis Area
01/20/2021
Many counties and health systems in the St. Louis region are collecting pre-registration data for those interested in learning when they may be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination.
As communicated on Jan. 11, SLU has formally applied with the state of Missouri to be a COVID-19 vaccine administration site to serve our University community and our neighbors in St. Louis. The University hopes to have approval soon.
On Thursday, Jan. 14, the state refined its priority populations for COVID-19 vaccines, creating additional priority categories that will guide our planning should we be approved as a vaccination site — and that will inform when you will be eligible for the vaccine.
Several local counties and health systems have created registration lists. The forms collect residents’ names and contact information, as well as details about their health risks. Once enough vaccine supply becomes available, health officials will use that information to contact people to schedule vaccination appointments.
