Billiken Parent and Family Association to Host Annual Trivia Night February 20

After a decade of gathering in competitive fellowship each year to raise money for student-centered causes, the Billiken Parent and Family Association will be hosting its 11th Annual Trivia Night and Silent Auction as an 100% virtual event. The event will be hosted through the online gaming platform Kahoot! and will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20. 

While the pandemic might prevent in-person gatherings in the Busch Student Center, it also provides a new opportunity to engage with friends and family of SLU, both near and far. No longer are travel, weather and lodging a concern for those who wish to attend…this year the entire SLU community is invited to join from the comfort of their own homes.

This year's theme for the event is Mardi Gras and participants are encouraged to dress for the occasion in purple, green and gold.

Registration costs will be slightly lower than previous years, with a single $100 fee covering a “household” registration of two to eight people. All proceeds for the 2021 event will benefit SLU’s Billiken Bounty and the Student Emergency Relief Fund.

The Silent Auction will open prior to Feb. 20, 2021, and will be hosted through “GiveSmart.”

The BPFA is delighted to accept donations, but there are a few cautions donors must adhere to. Items which include travel, entrance/admission fees or lodging should include a distant expiration date when possible. Alcohol is accepted as a donation in auction gifts, but arrangements must be made for it to be directly shipped from the manufacturer to the winning bidder. Saint Louis University is not able to ship alcohol to winning bidders.
