Focus Group Meetings Slated for New Audre Lorde Scholars Program

The Cross Cultural Center will be hosting focus group meetings for those interested in being a part of the newly created Audre Lorde Scholars Program, a non-monetary program to promote academic excellence and mentorship among students who identify as women of color.
The first meeting will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 8.
This program is designed to support SLU students who self-identify as women of color and facilitates networking, community and social opportunities, and promote resources to provide a cultivating environment for women of color on campus.
This initiative is set to launch in the 2021-2022 academic year.
The focus group meeting will be an opportunity for students to learn more about the purpose and goals of the Audre Lorde program in addition to allowing students to share suggestions for the upcoming program.

Those who cannot attend the Monday focus group meeting may attend on another date:
- Wednesday, March 10 - 4:30-5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 16 - 5-6 p.m.
- Thursday, March 18 - 5:30-6:30 p.m.
- Friday, March 26 - 4-5 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 30 - 4:30-5:30 p.m.
