Mission Book Club to Read 'Gifts From Friends We've Yet to Meet'
11/05/2021
Saint Louis University's Office of Mission and Identity invites the University community to join in reading "Gifts From Friends We've Yet to Meet" as part of the Mission Book Club.

“Gifts from Friends We've Yet to Meet, a Memoir of Biblical Encounters,” is written by Virginia Herbers, director of spiritual formation in the Office of Mission and Identity.
The book offers a set of brief reflections on unnamed characters from the Gospels.
A book and reflection/discussion guide will be provided for all members of the Book Club. Sessions will begin with a short Zoom introduction on Monday, Nov. 15, at noon, and optional small groups will meet the week of Nov. 29, closing with a large group gathering on Dec. 17.
To register and receive your book and further information, complete the online registration form.
This is the second book club selection of this Ignatian Year. The Mission Book Club read “The Autobiography of St. Ignatius,” in October.
