Cannonball Picnic Will Be October 29
10/26/2021
The annual Cannonball Picnic will return to Saint Louis University on Friday.
The Cannonball Picnic for University staff members will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 29. The picnic will take place in the Wool Ballroom in the Busch Student Center.
Staff members will not be required to use vacation hours or leave time to participate. To encourage a casual atmosphere at the event, staff are welcome to dress down that day if their work environment and schedule permits.
With the move indoors, guests will be required to follow the University’s mask protocols. Accordingly, all attendees must wear masks while inside, with the exception of the period they are eating their lunch.
The picnic is held each year to recognize the contributions of SLU staff and gets its name from the battlefield injury suffered by St. Ignatius in 1521.
Along with lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to win prizes. To be eligible, attendees must RSVP online by noon Thursday, Oct. 28. Attendees are asked to RSVP to ensure an accurate food count.
