More Than 1,000 Gifts Given on SLU Giving Day

On Thursday, the Office of Alumni and Donor Engagement invited the SLU family — faculty, staff, students and alumni — to showcase how Billikens paint the world SLU blue by participating in the fifth annual SLU Giving Day

The SLU family did just that. and in 24 hours raised $331,596 from 1,002 gifts for various student organizations, scholarships, programs and service organizations.

This 24-hour day of giving — the biggest fundraising event of the year — brings the SLU community together in support of important projects across the University. This year’s giving day  support many different projects across campus. These range from diagnostic services for the Interdisciplinary Center for Autism Services to a new kiln for the ceramics department and others in between.
