University to Mark Ash Wednesday With Masses
02/25/2022
To mark the beginning of the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday, March 2, Saint Louis University will celebrate together at Masses throughout the day.
Lent is a season of renewal and a time when Catholics and other Christians are invited to deepen and strengthen their relationship with God in an intentional way.
During Lent, the SLU community is invited to engage in the practices of prayer, fasting and almsgiving in preparation for living more fully the Paschal mystery celebrated anew each Easter.
