Researchers Study Seeks Children to Better Understand Language Outcomes

A SLU research study seeks children to better understand language outcomes.

Participants must be 6 to 8 years of age and live in a low income household. There is one study visit that will take about 2.5 hours.

Up to $40 is provided for time and effort. A screening form can be filled out online

The protocol number for the study is 31951. The protocol title is  Promoting language in poverty: Interactions among chronic stress, learning ability, and language outcomes. The protocol expiry date is Sept. 20, 2022. 

This study will be run by graduate students, Tony W. Buchanan, Ph.D.; and Sara Steele, Ph.D., from the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders.
