Volunteers Sought for Aging Research Computer Study

The Saint Louis University Department of Psychology seeks healthy volunteers from diverse backgrounds to help advance research about brain aging. 

The study aims to help researchers better understand the relationship between healthy aging and the ability to control responses to emotional information. Volunteers will be asked to complete computer tasks, questionnaires, and paper and pencil tests of thinking.

Researchers are seeking volunteers aged 18 to 30 or 65 or older. Volunteers must have  no major psychological or medical problems. Volunteers also cannot not use any psychiatric medications or medications to improve memory.

All volunteers must be able to travel to Saint Louis University. SLU offers free parking and is conveniently located on bus route 10, and near routes 70 and 58X. 

The study involves 1 study visit to complete a computer task and surveys about the volunteer's health and wellbeing. Volunteers will be compensated $20 for 90 minutes of participation.
