Involuntary Student Leave Policy Now Active

03/01/2022

A policy is now active after completing the University policy approval process.

About the Policy

Involuntary Student Leave Policy :  Saint Louis University students are expected to strive for excellence, to develop their talents through discovery and reflection, and to be concerned for cura personalis (care of each individual) of our entire campus community, while progressing toward their degree. The University is dedicated to fostering a supportive educational environment.

When students exhibit behavior indicating an inability or unwillingness to engage productively toward meeting these expectations and present disruptive and/or dangerous behavior, the University may place the student on an involuntary leave for non-academic reasons.
