SLU Sigma Xi Research Symposium Is April 1

The Saint Louis University Chapter of Sigma Xi invites the SLU community to its annual Research Symposium, featuring short presentations from undergraduate and graduate students in a broad range of disciplines covering biological/life sciences, physical/engineering sciences, and social/behavioral sciences.
This virtual event will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 1, via Zoom.
Registration is required to attend the sessions. Anyone interested should register by Thursday, March 31, to ensure you receive the Zoom links for the presentation sessions.
Schedule
- 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Welcome from SLU Sigma Xi
- 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Session 1 presentations
- 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Session 2 presentations
- 4 p.m.: Induction of new Sigma Xi members and announcement of awards
Anyone available to serve as a judge for the event, should contact silviya.zustiak@slu.edu. Graduate students can serve as judges for undergraduate presentations. Any questions can be sent to dana.baum@slu.edu.
Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society is an honor society and was founded in 1886. The Society has more than 500 chapters in the world. The SLU chapter was founded in 1944. Individuals who have presented or published their work, including participants in our research symposium, are eligible for membership.
