International Education Week Kicks Off November 14

International Education Week (IEW) will run from Monday, Nov. 14, through Friday, Nov. 18. Celebrated in more than 100 countries, International Education Week is a week-long initiative that promotes awareness of international and global affairs while furthering international cultural understanding.
IEW is one of the initiatives at SLU like Atlas Week that advances connections across borders. Programming for IEW 2023 includes:
Monday, Nov. 14
- What's happening in Iran: The Voice of a Revolution at 5 p.m. in the CGC
Open discussion about the protests happening in Iran and the fight for freedom around the globe.
Tuesday, Nov. 15
- #WelcomeLikeJesus: Where Border Stories, Migration, Faith and Justice Meet with Sister Tracey Horan. 5:30 pm-6:30 pm in Wuller Hall, Suite 204.
Speaker event featuring Sister Tracy Horan that focus on what is going on at the U.S.-Mexico border and how people can get involved. Sponsored by the Center for Social Action, Theology Department, and Spanish Department.
Wednesday, Nov. 16
- Anime Night at the CGC. 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will include a free viewing of popular anime film Jujutsu Kaisen 0; prequel to shounen mega-hit Jujutsu Kaisen.
Thursday, Nov. 17
- Atlas Week Info Meeting. 5:30 p.m. in the CGC Auditorium.

- International Gala & Talent Show. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the CGC Auditorium.
Sponsored by the International Student Federation, the International Gala & Talent Show features cultural cuisine from around the globe and multiple student acts showing off the many cultures present on campus.
