Year of Service Fair and Ice Cream Social Set for November 9

The SLU Year of Service Fair, the annual volunteer opportunity showcase, will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the Busch Student Center Room 253.

This annual event involves dozens of post-graduate volunteer organizations hosting information booths for students of any year who are considering completing a year of service following graduation.

Representatives from the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Teach for America, the Peace Corps and other organizations will be on hand.

Following the fair will be an ice cream social from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Career Services Lobby (Griesedieck Hall 130).
