SLU ASBMB Hosting Guest Speaker Bruce Horazdovsky, Ph.D.

Saint Louis University Chapter of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology will host Bruce Horazdovsky, Ph.D., at an event Friday, Nov. 4. Horazdovsky, who is visiting from the Mayo Clinic. 

The event will run from 3:50 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Horazdovsky will be giving a talk about his career path, science and current roles, which include serving as the Associate Dean of the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Associate Director of the Mayo Clinic Medical Scientist Training Program. He will be focusing on the history of the Mayo Clinic and why the Mayo Clinic works, the training programs that are available and their potential for developing a career in biomedical research, medicine and beyond.

This is an  opportunity for students looking to learn more about graduate and medical school admissions at the Mayo Clinic. Guests are encouraged to RSVP for food and refreshments.
