Application Period Opens for Civil Rights Pilgrimage Spring Break Trip

Applications are now being accepted for the 2023 Civil Rights Pilgrimage Spring Break trip co-sponsored by the Department of Housing and Residence Life, Cross Cultural Center for Global Citizenship, and Campus Ministry.

The trip will take place March 11-18 and will be to Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

Students who are interested in learning more about Civil Rights in the United States, have a passion for Social Justice, Social Change or Intersectionality, and/or want to be involved with a SLU-sponsored trip that focuses on the current and past climate of differing intersectional relations in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.

Join the trip for an eye-opening and life-changing week as participants discover where America has been, where it is now, and where it will hopefully be in future in the fight for civil rights. There will be info sessions about the Civil Rights Pilgrimage including information about financial costs on the following dates:
