Students Take Part in Wellness Day

09/29/2022

There were no undergraduate or graduate classes on Wednesday, Sept. 28, for a University Wellness Day.

In an effort to increase well-being support and resources for students, the Division of Student Development partnered with the divisions of Diversity and Innovative Community Engagement (DICE), Mission and Identity and academic partners to create programming for Sept. 28. The programing was is intended to care for the whole person via mind, body and spirit.

Check out a gallery of photos from some of the events.

The goal for Wellness Day was for individuals to focus on their needs. That could mean participating in planned activities in community, making time for themselves, focusing on their well-being in another way that suits them best, or working on schoolwork.

University leaders encouraged students to set out on campus and engage with others or do something to take care of themselves.
