Required Learning Module for Faculty and Staff Available April 19
04/06/2023
On Wednesday, April 19, all Faculty and Staff at Saint Louis University will receive access to the annual required training on Harassment and Discrimination titled Preventing Harassment and Discrimination in conjunction with software provider Vector Solutions.
All faculty and staff (including full-time, part-time, adjunct, and medical campus employees) will receive an email message from external sender Vector Solutions alerting them to the presence of the module.
The module can be accessed through the “MySLU” portal in the “MyApps Dashboard.” Locate the button marked “Vector Solutions” and click on it. This will take the user into the module system, and the system will recognize the user’s SLU credentials.
This annual required training module is designed to inform faculty and staff on matters related to reports of sexual harassment (including sexual assault, stalking, and dating/domestic violence), harassment, and discrimination based on federally protected classes. The course will also highlight bystander intervention, reporting requirements, and other important topics.
This online module will help users understand their rights, responsibilities and available options and resources for reporting and addressing harassment and discrimination, including how and to whom you can report an incident.
Even if users are a supervisor, they are required to take this module. The estimated time to complete this module is around 35-45 minutes. Please note: even if a user has previously completed online modules in the past, they are still required to complete this training. All faculty and staff are required to complete this module by June 30, 2023.
