Share and Learn: Ideas for Collaborative Inquiry

02/07/2023

All SLU instructors are cordially invited to an interactive session designed to introduce people to the teaching possibilities offered by the Collaborative Inquiry component of our new Core.

Whereas the Core’s Ignite Seminar invites students to explore the questions that got you started in your field, Collaborative Inquiry invites students to join you as you investigate multidimensional and complex questions that continue to engage and sustain you.

This Collaborative Inquiry session is designed for people who are interested in teaching Collaborative Inquiry, but may not have a defined idea for what to teach in this Core area. We welcome anyone who is interested in sharing the issues and questions that continue to drive their career or field with colleagues from across campus.  Come see what we can learn from each other, and how cross-disciplinary conversation can lead to ideas for engaging students in future Collaborative Inquiry courses.

We will be running two sessions, both of which will include a reception to follow.  Please use the link below to RSVP by Friday, February 24th for the session that best fits your schedule:

If you can’t attend but are still interested in Collaborative Inquiry, please use the link as well to give us a way to be in touch with you.

Please RSVP by Friday, Feb. 24.

Sincerely,

Ellen Crowell, Ph.D., Director of the University Core and

David Kaplan, Ph.D., Associate Director of the Core for Collaborative Inquiry
