Saint Louis University’s College for Public Health and Social Justice is proud to celebrate National Public Health Week.
The week-long schedule features connecting SLU with the broader community, promoting public health initiatives, drives for those in need and much more. Below is a list of just some of the activities taking place during National Public Health Week.
Monday, April 3
Period Product Drives
- Where: Salus Center
- When: All Day
- What: Drop off period products into bins to be donated to various local organizations
Public Health Career Spotlight
- Where: Center for Global Citizenship
- When: 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
- What: Speed networking event for undergraduates in the CPHSJ to learn more about careers in public health
Tuesday, April 4

GenerateHealth Equity Panel

- What: A GenerateHealth panel to discuss their experiences with health/health care and social determinants of health
College for Public Health and Social Justice
The Saint Louis University College for Public Health and Social Justice is the only academic unit of its kind, studying social, environmental and physical influences that together determine the health and well-being of people and communities. It also is the only accredited school or college of public health among nearly 250 Catholic institutions of higher education in the United States. Guided by a mission of social justice and focus on finding innovative and collaborative solutions for complex health problems, the college offers nationally recognized programs in public health and health administration.
