COPE Symposium Scheduled for June 14

Saint Louis University will host the annual Create Opioid Preparedness Education (COPE) Symposium on Wednesday, June 14.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Zoom.
This year the COPE Symposium will feature a Socioecological Approach to Substance Misuse Treatment. The event will host national scholars, including Babek Tofighi, M.D.; Cyrus Williams, Ph.D.; and Aaron Murnan, Ph.D.
The symposium will focus on using technology and the family in treatment and a conversation about why evidence-based practices fail with many populations misusing substances.
