Panel Discussion on Global Perspectives on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Is Thursday

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology is hosting a panel discussion by SLU faculty members on global diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) perspectives.
The event will be on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m. at Beracha Hall, room 213. The event is co-sponsored by the Office of Human Resources and the SLU International Faculty and Staff Association.
In today's interconnected world, the pursuit of DEI is more critical than ever. This event will provide a platform for exploring DEI from a global perspective, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and sharing insights on promoting equity and inclusivity in diverse communities.
The panel of experts and thought leaders will discuss international best practices in DEI; the role of cultural competency in fostering inclusion; personal perspectives from their respective countries; and strategies for building inclusive communities globally. Whether you are a student, faculty member, staff, or a community member interested in promoting DEI, this event welcomes participants from all backgrounds and experiences.
