Long-Serving Members of SLU Community Honored at Presidential Service Awards 
Saint Louis University recognized its long-time employees at the 2023 Presidential Service Awards.

A breakfast ceremony took place Thursday, Nov. 16, in the Wool Ballrooms at the Busch Student Center. At the ceremony, SLU saluted employees who have been at SLU for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years.

SLU President Fred P. Pestello, Ph.D., thanked the group for their commitment and dedication to SLU.

“Because of you, Saint Louis University has become the remarkable place that it is today,” he said.

The event also featured remarks from honorees Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications Laura Geiser, 30 years; Student Development Senior Advisor Donna Bess Myers, 25 years; and Saint Louis School of Medicine Professor Scott Kaar, M.D., 15 years. The group shared stories from their time at SLU and talked about what SLU has meant to them throughout their careers.
