Annual Turkeypalooza Food Drive Seeking Donations

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and so is Turkeypalooza, Campus Kitchen’s annual Thanksgiving food drive.

Campus Kitchen is a student-led organization that works to decrease food insecurity and waste in the communities surrounding SLU. Every November, Campus Kitchen receives donations of holiday food items that will be distributed to the St. Louis community.

Anyone at SLU can be a part of the holiday celebration by donating Thanksgiving fare or funds to Campus Kitchen this month.

Donations for Turkeypalooza are collected on Tuesday, Nov. 14 and Wednesday, Nov. 15. These donations can be dropped off at Reinert Hall. Campus Kitchen is also available to pick up donations during these times as well.

Donation Days

• Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Reinert Hall
• Wednesday, Nov. 15, from noon to 3 p.m. at Reinert Hall

• Turkeys, turkeys, turkeys (any size, frozen or thawed)
• Canned or fresh yams/sweet potatoes
• Breadcrumbs
• Flour
• Gravy
• Stuffing
• Fried onions
• Green Beans
• Brown sugar
• White sugar
• Zip food storage bags (all sizes)
• Cream of mushroom soups
• Chicken stock
• Marshmallows
• Large foil pans
• Tin Foil
• Cooking Oil
