SLU’s Distance Education Office Releases Updated Distance Course Design Rubric
10/19/2023
Over the last 18 months, SLU’s Distance Education Committee, in partnership with the Distance Education Office, has been working to update the University’s Distance Course Design Rubric. The rubric articulates design standards expected for all distance courses offered by Saint Louis University, in any distance format.
Additionally, the Distance Education Office (DEO) has created some supporting resources to assist faculty with using the updated rubric. The DEO will hold two virtual Q&A sessions for faculty to ask questions about the revised rubric. Faculty can register for one of these sessions by completing this Google form.
Users can access the rubric, and learn more about the updates, by consulting the resources below. (Note: users must be signed into MySLU to access linked materials.)
