2024 SLU Giving Day is April 25

On April 25, Saint Louis University is coming together to accomplish something big — and the SLU community can help. For 24 hours — midnight to midnight — on SLU Giving Day, the University will raise funds for essential projects across all parts of Saint Louis University.

The day features special fundraising challenges that unlock additional funds when specific dollar amounts or donor participation goals are met.

Here’s how staff, faculty and students can help make the day a success:

Help spread the word about SLU Giving Day as an ambassador. Before or on April 25, help share the importance of supporting SLU and the variety of projects that will benefit on Giving Day. Talk about reasons for giving or the impact donors have had with friends and family via email and on social media using #SLUGivingDay. As a bonus, Giving Day ambassadors will be entered to win various prizes.
Make a gift of any size. For a complete list of the challenges or to make a gift, visit the crowdfunding website. Early giving starts on Thursday, April 11.
Consider making a matching or challenge gift to encourage others to support SLU. Historically, 87% of projects with a specific challenge met or exceeded their goal.

Launched in 2017, SLU Giving Day has raised more than $1.7 million for SLU in recent years in the form of more than 5,100 gifts.

This year, the first 500 donors contributing $60 or more will receive a limited-edition SLU puzzle.
