Sponsored by the Center for Social Action, the event brought in more than 400 students eager to explore volunteer and service opportunities that align with SLU’s mission and commitment to community engagement.

The fair featured more than 50 community partners, offering students a unique opportunity to connect with organizations dedicated to making a positive impact in the St. Louis area. Among the many organizations in attendance were the Descendants of the Saint Louis University Enslaved (DSLUE), Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis, Trailnet, Tower Grove Park, and Home Works!, each offering various ways for students to get involved and contribute to the community.

Organizers said the event embodies the spirit of SLU Jesuit values and the Oath members of the community take to serve others. Organizers hoped students left the fair with a deeper understanding of how they can live out SLU's mission through service and engagement.

The Community Engagement Fair is a designed to be part of SLU's efforts to foster a culture of service and social responsibility among its students. By connecting students with community partners, SLU seeks to strengthen its ties to the St. Louis community and empower students to become agents of change.
