Concrete Repairs to Begin June 10

As part of Facilities Services' continued improvements to the campus, contractors will be making repairs to several concrete areas across the campus this summer.

The areas in red included in the pictures are the areas that contain larger or more continuous repair areas. There are several smaller, isolated repair areas, especially along the West Pine Mall. However, these are smaller and will not have a significant impact on normal mall traffic.

Work is tentatively planned to begin near the Olive Compton Garage and athletic fields the week of June 10.

After this area, crews will then begin working on the West Pine Mall. Work on this portion of campus is slated tentatively for the weeks of June 17 or June 24. Weather and any unexpected conditions can have an impact on our schedule.

The contractor understands that the safety of all campus users is our number one priority along with the goal of minimizing the disruption to normal pedestrian, bicycle, golf cart and other traffic.
