International Education Week 2024 Kicks Off Monday

International Education Week, sponsored by the Office of International Services, includes events that invite the SLU community to view education from a global perspective.

The events are as follows:

International Internship Event

Learn about internship opportunities around the world.

Travel Tips

Hosted by past study abroad students, this event will offer travel tips. 

• Date: Monday, Nov. 18
• Time: 7 p.m.
• Location: Busch Student Center 254

Budgeting Abroad

This event, hosted by past study abroad students, will discuss budgeting and financing. 

• Date: Tuesday, Nov. 19
• Time: 6 p.m
• Location: Busch Student Center, Room 254

Packing Workshop

Past study abroad students will offer tips and advice on packing for travel. 

• Date: Wednesday, Nov. 20
• Time: 7 p.m.
• Location: Des Peres 108

Study Abroad Do's & Don'ts

Past study abroad students will offer advice on study abroad. 

• Date: Thursday, Nov. 21 
• Time: 7 p.m.
• Location: Busch Student Center, Room 254

International Trivia Night

• Date: Friday, Nov. 22
• Time: 6:30 p.m. to  8:30 p.m.
• Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering, Room 211

These events are open to all SLU students.

International Education Week is November 17-23, 2024, and is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education.
